Capulet

This is a creature that may or may not be mentioned more in the future, depending on whether I ever get the inspiration to take action on a little half-formed story idea of mine. Capulet is the name given to this particular chimera, which in this world are the fused bodies of two or more recently dead or dying animals reanimated by a very special and uncommon relative of slime mold. Despite fitting the general definition of zombie, they are often slow, clumsy, and have a preference whatever the living animal(s) liked in life. Actual chimeras like Capulet are actually almost unheard of in the wild, this bugger was created in a lab, and is actually rather affectionate. When it is a single animal, it is usually called an 'undead' or something of the like. Telltale signs are the appearance of sickness or lack of grooming in the animal, even deteriorating skin, and unusually dark spots around damaged or tender parts of the body.

I'm still working on this concept, so it's really rough... hopefully I can get somewhere with it someday
