Down with the Old King

Mischief, this is all concept, and considering I did this in about 20 minutes, it's not that good.

There is an old legend among the people of the land now known as Mertua, of a God on earth. There is little record of this creature, whatever it was, and no one knows for sure what it looked like, though it was said to glow in all the colors of the spectrum. Some say that it was the first Avatar, others say it was not an avatar at all, but a being from the spirit world that manifested itself in the physical plain.
The humans worshipped it as a God, a protector, a shaper of the winds and shaker of the earth. It could distort the very fabric of reality, whether waking or asleep. It was the dreamer.

Though few but those still deeply rooted in Mertuan lore remember this legend, many know the tale of the twin dragons, how they came to the country, and changed it forever. They were the lords of change, and had come to bring a better world to the people.
One of the earliest human depictions of these dragons, however, shows a strange image. As one, they are attacking the dreamer, taking it down. What does it mean? Perhaps the answer is lost to time.
